Our website chat assistant

Our website includes an automated chat assistant that answers questions and helps you request an inspection. To generate its responses, the messages you send to the assistant are processed by a third-party artificial-intelligence service provider (Anthropic) acting on our behalf. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat. The assistant is automated; you can ask to speak with a person at any time.

How your information is stored and protected

Your information is stored in a secured database managed through our service provider (Supabase). We use technical safeguards including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted staff access so that only authorized personnel can view your information.

Storage outside Canada: our database and service providers may store or process your information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is stored or processed in another country, your information may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities of that country under its laws. By using this site and submitting your information, you acknowledge this cross-border storage.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses limited browser storage to remember, during your visit, how you arrived at our site (for example, from a Google or Facebook ad) so we can measure which marketing works. If we run online advertising, we may share limited conversion information (that a booking occurred) with advertising platforms such as Google and Meta to measure and improve our campaigns. We do not share your name, contact details, or the content of your messages with advertising platforms for this purpose.

Who we share it with

We share your personal information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the website and store data (such as our hosting and AI providers), who are permitted to use it only to provide services to us
• Anyone else only where required or permitted by law

How long we keep it

We only keep your information if you have booked and agreed to a free, no-obligation estimate, so we can maintain your details in our address book and stay connected with our customers.

You may request removal of your information from all of our services at any time by contacting our sales email or by phoning our phone number below.

Records of completed work are retained only as long as needed for business, warranty, and tax purposes.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you may:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal retention requirements
• Withdraw your consent to our use of your information

Children

Our services are directed to property owners and decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
